MEDIA LANGUAGE: My semiotic rap!

I would like to firstly take this time to sincerely apologise for this tear jerking rap.
                   Ok here we go.

If you use denote it will promote your description of a text
Next, if you signify your marks will be sure to multiply
just remember to pick out specific details like December
as it could symbolise. Now close your eyes.
Cats and dogs are binary opposites so don't bog your self down and get confused
Be amused as you explore the many meanings of polysemy.
(Sort of like that polysemy just doesn't even try to rhyme) (What even rhymes with the word polysemy?)

(yep.)

  1. Oh dear! Good to see a range of terms being used, with relevant/accurate points around them. Scope for a more developed rap though, eg:
Don't worry if you're a bit bewildered by a text
Start by denoting or describing it, don't get vexed.
Next step is to ask what this detail might signify,
In other words to ask ... why
    Connotations go beyond the eyes,
    A mental concept symbolised
Tom and Jerry used anthropomorphised binary opposites
Cat chasing mouse to deliver whacks and hits
When we can't pin down the meaning it has polsemy,
Just like the weird wart on the face of Motorhead's Lemmy!
